At Discovery Church Food Pantry we currently provide food, free of charge, to families and individuals in need. Scroll down for application.
Appointments:
You can call 828-285-9890 Monday through Friday the week before the 3rd Saturday (assistance day) for an appointment to receive food assistance. You can also register online by clicking on the the LAUNCH link below. Our goal is to help as many families as our supplies allow.
Assistance will be on the 3rd Saturday of each month (exceptions may apply due to holidays) between the hours of 9:00-11:00 am. If it is an emergency we will try to accommodate your time schedule. You are eligible to receive food assistance once a month for two months.
Priority will be given to those with an immediate need for food assistance that can be met by our food availability.
On the day of your appointment arrive 5-10 minutes early. If you forget your appointment and do not contact us to pick it up the following Monday, it may be given to another family on our waiting list.
